Just saw a tweet congratulating Tillery with signing his scholarship paperwork with ND. Is this for real? Can't believe there's been so little buzz about it or am I just the last to get the news. I actually thought we had a fair chance to flip him.

probably the scholarship paperwork

players can sign those at multiple schools

simply means that the school cannot pull the offer. player can still choose to go elsewhere

I dont' think it is binding, but it likely is a statement from him to ND.

he has probably filled out the paperwork for lsu too but that stuff is private. only way to know is if a school employee breached or if tillery announces it.

not saying he is an lsu lock but players fill out the paperwork for multiple schools every year

That's good, thanks for the updates. I was thinking that if something really big happened with him there'd be more than an obscure tweet to confirm it but, you never know nowadays.

According to his father, it is over. Despite being able to send in paperwork to multiple schools, He will not send in paperwork to any other school , and as of today he is officially a notre dame player.

I cannot understand why these young men choose to go away instead of playing for their home school. But........N D is a very nice tradition and a nice degree.
But again......going to another SEC school is crazy foolish.
But again and again.....teams in the SEC that vie for a N C year after year are very attractive even if they are not our favorite.

I hope LM gets his act together

These agreements are typically binding for the school but not for the player. Tillery could go elsewhere.

Players who plan on being an early entry can sign the financial aid scholarship papers now but that only binds the school. The player is not committed to it until he actually enrolls and attends class in spring semester.

He is still fair game although it is not a good sign.

Just a financial aid agreement. Probably signed them with multiple schools. Does not mean its over at all.

Will he be visiting this weekend?

Also nolatrain where did you get that info?
