He's all Bama as of now, but UGa is confident that the new coaches they have on staff will make a strong push.

I guess Tyrann saw this video and posted this on Twitter since they compared this dude to him:
ETA: I think TM7 posted that b/c dude is a Bama commit. He usually gives props to LSU commits. This kid's 2 favorite players are former tigers.

One of the reasons Mathieu was so great is because he felt overlooked. If this dude is already a 5 star and #1 athlete in the nation, I doubt he'll have the chip on his shoulder like Mathieu did.

Mathieu is right even if he were to say it to an LSU commit. We have never seen anything like him and its doubtful we do again for a long time. Just one of those rare kids that comes along.
As for Robertson, he says hes solid to Bama and most believe he is but the caveat is that he wants to go to school with his sister and Bama hasn't offered her. She's a track athlete I believe. UGA fans are confident because of that. That state gets raided like no other and Bama has a way of winning kids even when the advantages seem to be elsewhere(see Tony Brown).
I give UGA fans credit for the lack of true melt they show. Can you imagine our fan base if we lost kids we want at the rate they do? It would be unbearable.

I honestly think its interesting that LSU isn't his school of choice if his top 2 athletes he looks up to are 2 of LSU greats, and of the past few years, no less. That makes no sense to me.

.....The next video after was Dylan Moses.... = BOOOM!
I watched all of Dylan's video. I haven't seen/ heard him talk about himself and his LSU recruitment... Awesome! Seems like he was really raised very well. Glad DM is bleeding purple and gold.

The next honey badger?
About the only thing they have in common is their haircut.

It doesn't make any sense bro at all

Why do you idiots write "prolly" instead of the correct word?

There is no "Next Honey Badger". Tyrann Mathieu was pound for pound one of the most disruptive defensive players ever to play college football. The kid may be good, but he ain't TM.

I'll take a kid that is a step behind TM that can actually keep eligible and not let his team , coaches and fans down for not being able to follow rules.
Let Bama have the other ones.

So now in hindsight since both are done with college, who would you take based on college, Landon Collins or TM7? Give me the 2 years+ of TM all day. We got 2 of the best years college football has ever seen from a 3rd CB(just think about that), much less a #1 and I wouldn't trade them for anything. I'd take those 2 years over PPs 3.
Also have to look at the long lasting benefits. TM7 is a legend to kids in hs right now and it helps our reputation as DBU tremendously. In fact, I look at TM7 as the true ambassador of DBU. He took it to the big national stage even more than PP7 did. He won every award a DB could win. Give me the option of taking a Mathieu even with the trouble and I take him every time. Those 2 years were that special

ask any kid in New Orleans who they most look up to, Collins or Mathieu.
