I will no longer follow recruiting with as much passion anymore. I am a grown man and should have more of a life. This is the first time in a long time I have felt depressed about losing a recruit. Just makes me sick. I also felt like Louisiana was disrespected on National TV. I wanted LSU to get LC more than any other recruit. Enjoy watching him play. Alabama's recruits looked dominant in this game...they are loaded.

Look at the recruiting rankings for the last 5 years. Star gazing is just for fun. Coaching and talent evaluation are just as important.

We lost a good one today, but we will move on.

The Kid just wants to play next year and that wasn't gonna happen at LSU. What good would it do to get him and have him transfer. He just wasn't a good fit due to bad timing. No big deal.

You are holding on too tight. You lost the edge. You have a son. You've never even seen him and you nearly orphaned him today.

Turn in your wings.

And get some perspective.

Utah Tiger, I could not agree anymore. I felt physically sick when he announced. I'm a grown man with a great career and three kids, and I am done getting worked up over this! DONE!!! It's a disgrace to our state to not only leave but to go there of all places. I am finito!!!!

You don't think he was going to play next year at LSU ? You have no idea what you are talking about. He is going to Bama for one reason and one reason only...

I agree. I have the same sentiments. Im finished with recruiting alltogether. Its not that he committed to another school. Its the fact that the school he comitted to I happen to loathe with every being of my freakin soul.

I HAD SUCH A PRIDE FEELING THEN ,HE DISRESPECTED LOUISISNA.I say Miles should not do in house screw it let the young man move on.We look like fools to all the other posters on rant that we think or know are fools, also ESPN made such a big thing of it.Didnt feel like he dis us because of choice but I really believed he played us and mom.I do not believe I will follow recruiting this hard again.Wife has been so pissed ,she says no time for me your nose all into this 18year olds decision. Well I have followed recruiting every day for the past 10 yrs it seems. Time to take up a new hobby I think. :)

I think the impact of my fav recruit going to our biggest rival and flashing those damn gloves pushed me over the edge. I plan on redirecting my focus with as much passion into my business in stead of recruiting. I should be a multi-millionaire soon!
