Who's going to Thibodaux to watch this game on Thursday? Should be a packed house to watch Mr. Reed. Any TD'ers going?

Against McDonogh 35? I thought Thibodaux was good this year?

I posted this on the MSB thread, but I'll post it here too cause it's my thread

The refs did screw McD 35 tonight. I was right in front of the play that happened. On the second to last play of the game with Thibodaux trailing 20-14 with 5 seconds left, QB Trovon Reed threw a 25-yard hail mary pass into the endzone which fell incomplete. But the refs flagged 35 on a bogus defensive holding penalty that gave Thibodaux first down at the 10 with 1 second left. All the of the McD players were jumping for the ball and never touched the Thibodaux receiver, but the refs still through the flag. Thibodaux went ahead on a touchdown pass from Reed and the extra point gave them the win. Thibodaux looked bad most of the game except for that last drive that went 96 yards. Great game, but the refs screwed McD at the end.

It was a close play with the defensive holding as all of the defenders and reciever were in a pack so who knows what the ref saw, but the ball was on the 18 after and 35 still had a chance to stop them but couldnt. I will say thibodaux still earned the victory.

Still not very reassuring that it took all of that to beat McDonogh 35.

McDonogh 35 is a good team. They have size and speed. They should've blown Thibodaux out but they had 3 or 4 crucial late hit penalties.

Since when? When was the last time they made it to the Quarterfinals of the playoffs much less had a deep run? Before the season there was a lot of bumping gums talking about Thibodaux making it to the Dome in 5A. If they were that good, they would've won last night by 40.

Thibodaux will be lucky to make the playoffs and Reed will be lucky if he doesn't get killed back there.

McD 35 is better than every team in Thibodaux district. Even though the ending was controversial, it was still a good win by them.

Thibodaux has alot of new people starting. We only returned 5 or 7 starters from last year. They will have their mistakes. Thibodaux will get better and stronger as the season goes on. Thibodaux beat a good team last night. I wish I could have seen it but I only could listen to it on the radio. It was indeed exciting to listen to. Go Tigers!!!
