Tyrann Matthieu had 2 (or was it 3?) ACL tears and has done pretty well. Lowell came back better than ever after his 1st injury, and the 2nd one isn't as severe, so...

That being said, you won't find a kid more mentally tough than he is. 2 ACL tears, plus his dad dying in between. This kid is hungry.

How many times did Deshaun Watson tear his ACL? Or JT Barret with that bad injury

No way he wants anything to do with Les and Cam.

Yeah, that's what I said before. Auburn ran pretty much the same scheme as St. James -- yet he switched to LSU to play for Cam. I didn't understand it at first -- but it was all about loyalty. When he suffered the first tear, Cam was there and went to the hospital with him. When he tweaked his leg in the state championship game, Cam went to the hospital with him. When his dad died, Cam and his wife attended the funeral. And after the 2nd tear, once again, Cam was there. That's why I never underestimate his loyalty to Cam.

I am not counting on him because he has had serious injuries to both knees in the past two years. Who knows how he will come back.

Cam Newton. Sam Bradford. Deshaun Watson. Tom Brady. Teddy Bridgewater. RGIII. Donavan McNabb. joe Flacco. Carson Palmer.

All had one or more ACL tears

Well, if you followed him last year, he came back from the 1st injury (which was more severe) better than ever, and led St. James to the Dome. This injury isn't as bad. But that's ok, keep doubting him. Can't wait to see him prove the doubters wrong.

This. There's no question about it.

Here's the bottom line. The bulk of what makes this kid good is his legs. There's nothing on film to indicate he is really a passer without his running ability.

That's the problem with a lot of dual threat guys on the pros. They don't agree well. The second they get a shade slower, they become VERY mediocre QBs.

This kids got two knees that have been injured. You are crazy as a coach if that didn't worry you.

Yes. You still recruit him because the talent is there. But, you almost have to think of him as a luxury recruit.

Yes, I'm very aware of that. Once again I point out that he was better than ever when he returned from the first injury. This one is less severe. I'm not understanding your rationale.

Coached against him this past season. I've never seen a qb like him. I'm not gonna reveal the school I'm at, but the kid has it all. Composure, mobility, arm strength, leadership. The whole 9 yards. I just hope he can come back from the injury. If he can, he's going to light up college football.

Narcisse is more of a PP than people give credit for. He was just always running for his life behind that terrible O-line.

Yet his backup has a 10 minute highlight video from that same season, mostly of him sitting in the pocket and making throw after throw.

I love Narcisse's athletic ability, he's an elite athlete with a very good arm, but he's closer to a better armed Reuben Randall in high school that he is Ryan Perrilloux. Which isn't bad, but you need other options at QB if he doesn't develop as a passer, all the physical tools are there though.

It's not that he's a forgotten man, he's just a question mark at this point. The majority of his highlights are him using his legs either on runs, or using his legs to extend plays so his WR's are open. Now he's coming off multiple knee surgeries, has missed two seasons that could have developed him more as a passer. Then you have to factor in that he's throwing against 3A competition to 3 6'1+ WR's that will all be playing college ball.
