As far as this whole Lawson thing, there's a guy on 247 calling this class disappointing because Lawson and Cutrer didn't make the grades and Jackson chose Alabama.
It's most likely Master Shake or Louisiana Kid.

That's not a fair statement considering we don't actually know what the deal. You can assume its grades, doesn't mean it's necessarily correct. It's not LSU hasn't been the bad guy before.

Also, before anyone says that we didn't want this kid we really did. He has a ton of untapped potential. I for one am upset that he might not make it in.

Agreed. But it's his own fault. No one to blame but the kid himself for not taking care of his responsibilities.

You can see some of the undertones from posters that want this to be miles fault so they can blame him for it.

Tevin's grades and ACT are both fine-
His academics were in question 8 months ago when they offered....not now. He was worked extremely hard to get them to a qualifying status and he is there.
This is a clear case of LSU holding back on this news until his options were severely limited- making sure he does not go to a competitor.
I'm a big Tiger fan but this hits close to home and doesn't sit well. LSU has played dirty with a kid in their own back yard.
If they cooled on him, they should have known that when the high school season was completed. They could have at least told him sooner so he could take some visits and fully explore his options.

I don't know about this. Why in the world would LSU do this? Are you saying LSU thinks he is so good that they need to try and keep him from signing with other schools but not good enough to offer a scholarship?
