Cole Marsh
Didn't develop until juco. But low 90's with a 4 pitch Arsenal with control. Great recruiting on LSU's part. I'm sure Canizarro will enjoy kicking our arse with him for the next year or two.
Edit: went from mid 80's to low 90's at a juco and gaining about 2 inches and some weight. Imagine what States pitching staff can do.

How many juco arms do you expect us to recruit?

You can't build a staff on juco arms.

Thought he was from Neville? Didn't he have a heart attack in high school?

Your son did good. Be proud of him. And when visiting him ask for a room without a view.

Used to hang out in Tallulah when I was younger.
Had an aunt from Epps.

He went to high school there but I believe he was born in Tallulah. I'm not originally from here so I don't know the full story.

Right, right, right.
Kid went to Neville and Neville feeder schools.
And no, not even close to being my kid. My little ones aren't even close to being at this level. I just keep up with high school baseball. Which by the way, he did NOT have an LSU scholarship. Don't say ignorant things.
Why are y'all so butt hurt? I was simply wondering why he had not been offered. He's an instate hurler that could benefit then team, why let our biggest baseball rival grab him first?
What up with all the down votes on the OP post? Sorry I would like a low to mid 90's with a 4 pitch Arsenal.

He should have been offered if he wasn't. I was told he was offered but that may have been bad info.

CPM is about to lose a lot of recruits to Mississippi state if he doesn't hire an ace recruiter ASAP. Canni can flat out recruit and players love playing for him

If "Cannii" can out recruit LSU and bring outstanding players to Starkville from Louisiana he should change his name to Harry Houdini.

Probably because you seem triggered and butthurt in the OP, almost as much as your second comment.

With all due respect, this is a recuiting-only board. You're talking about evaluation, us not offering.

I hate CPM as much as anyone but fans have to stay out of the evaluation game.

We certainly do need pitching but roster is limited. Hope he gets an offer.

He’s worked his way up from a mid-80’s hurler to throwing up to 93 mph during the last season since arriving to MDCC. His favorite pitch, however, is his slider that is up to 75-80 mph and he has a collection of four pitches that is in his arsenal.

Every freshman LSU recruits throws AT LEAST in the low 90's.

And 75-80 MPH is not a slider when your fastball is in the 90's.

I'm guessing these are a few of the reasons he didn't have an offer from LSU and why he is already committing to MSU.
