Speedy just ran a 4.7 which has been the fastest time so far at this year's NFL Experience (two and a half days).

Against the wind? That's not too impressive for a guy named Speedy.

God are they running through mud? If he is running a 4.7, there has to be something wrong there

Tyrann ran a 4.63 at his combine, his senior year. Depends on surface and so forth. If he's had the fastest time, its telling.

He probably back-pedaled his 40-yard dash

How is 4.7 the fastest? Are all the other participants OL?

I was there last night. I wouldn't take any of the times as literal 40's. this is a fan experience, not a scouting combine.

It's an artificial turf surface similar to the Super Dome.

It's not like he had time to actually stretch/get loose.

A lot of factors can really change these times. My younger brother went to a Nike combine in Mobile, where they ran on some torn up grass with big gusts. He ran a poor 40 (4.69) laser and then went to another one in Chicago while visiting a school. It was indoors on turf and he ran a 4.5. Only a month or so between the runs.

You have never ever been as fast as speedy noil in your life. On film he is the fastest person on the field. Obviously it's a slow surface. Can't wait for the rantards to return home.

sounds like they use the same mechanism used at the us army combine. Once your finger leaves off a device that is placed on the ground the timer starts. if that is the case then it is acually a good time. if not, then i have no idea.
