He has been a weight room warrior. He's stoked about playing next season. He's going to be very good.

Shanon Reid was told not to commit because they didn't have enough scholarships. I spoke with him personally, I thought this kid looked pretty good so maybe they feel really good about some other kids. This kid is an early enrollee who felt they shouldn't have had him come for an official if they didn't have a scholarship.

bama is currently running with about 17 linebackers on the roster and that number looks to remain steady next year with the loss of players and new recruits

Find it funny because it will be the same as all these Qb's that flock there and then a star emerges as a freshman/Soph than BOOM! Transfer Time . It will be funny in the next year or 2 how many of those 17 will be looking for a transfer.

Well Moses has like a 93% to LSU crystal ball so I wouldn't look too much into that.

Well 89% now.

something has been up for awhile....tim williams goes to bama....now chris and dylan going there too. all from schools 10mins from tiger stadium.

It is as simple as Bama just being the popular team right now. No different than the 90's when Miami, FSU, Michigan were the "it" teams. I think people feel just because a kid grows up in Louisiana his favorite team is automatically LSU. Frankly, I don't think that is the case with a lot of young black kids who coincidentally are the same kids LSU is recruiting. Right now Alabama is the "it" team. Before them it was FSU/Miami. Just driving around BR over the last 5 or so years I see more Alabama stickers/license plate frames on cars and people wearing Alabama clothes than I've ever seen before. Most of the folks wearing Bama gear are black folks. I have black friends my age on social media who are "huge" Bama fans. 7-8 years ago those same people were huge Miami or FSU fans. Hell, just today I was driving down North Blvd. and saw a house with a huge Bama helmet sign on the front of the house with "Roll Tide" written on top.

Just because you or I love LSU and wouldn't dream of playing for any other SEC team if the opportunity were there doesn't mean that's the same for everyone. I think many of the kids LSU is recruiting (whether from Louisiana or elsewhere) are worried more about what school will get them to the NFL. Period. While LSU has certainly shown they can get kids to the NFL, I imagine a kid could see stars in his eyes when Nick Saban tells him you can be the biggest national stars in college AND make it to the NFL if you come to Alabama. If a kid doesn't have a true affinity for LSU, then spurning the hometown team isn't that big of a deal for him.

If you can get from Tiger Stadium to Southern Lab in 10 minutes you must be in a helicopter.

That means nothing, you have to look at the trend not overall picks.

Obviously there's a reason we went cool on Shannon Reid, do you have any idea why?

That is kind of where I was going with that.

Not certain but I would think it's because guys higher on the board may have told the coaches that are coming.

Reid's stats are nothing you can't pass on if higher guys are available . I'm not trashing the kid, saying his 40, shuttle and power ball scores are nothing that blows you away....say like Devin White's numbers for example.

They can't cb a kid to a school he's committed to. So, there's that. Otherwise, you see a 99% cb to Bama.

Andre Anthony didn't qualify or make it to LSU.

You, my friend, are an idiot.

He got screwed by his school closing down. Not because he didn't have the grades.

Word is that Reid is more of an OLB type and LSU feels they have enough of those. They prefer to use their remaining spots on ILB types.

Tosh visited Moses Friday and Saban visited him in-home yesterday. I'm pretty sure he is locked in.

if he's a 100% lock to Bama why are both the coaches wasting time on him? They should be trying to focus on guys they're still trying to get right?
