Just gut on Gay and Chaisson or you got info you're confident in?

If we could close with Gay, Phillips, Wilson , Mathis . This may be the best defensive class in the nation.

I agree. I would say Harris, but I feel like he's headed to gump land. And if we could flip Chris Allen it would pay dividends moving forward.

Yea it would definitely be great to keep Harris and Allen but if they decide not to be tigers in the end we have to feel pretty good about phillips/gay/queen at LB. and our already loaded DB haul. Then add Wilson and Mathis to our front and we have elite players in abundance at every position group.

I live in OKC, and there is legit concern about him flipping. Friday, on my way to work, on of the recruiting "experts" was on the radio. He was asked to name some players, who could have an instant impact, in Norman. He went on to say "without a doubt, if Phillips sticks with his commitment, he would either start, or get serious playing time right away". That made me want LSU to sign this kid even more.

I'm hoping Etienne does choose LSU. We need 2 good RBs in this class to get on Roster with Guice likely gone after next season.

Etienne would get carries this season and be in the running to be the starter his sophomore year.

Etienne and brossette will have to be the guys in 2018 with CEH in the mix as well. We have no other options at this point.

Gut on Gay. Backed by almost every CB, his commentary and the huge window that is open for stud lbers.

Chaisson. He is here, so there is a chance. Probably 'just making sure' he is not missing out, but word is that he is strong to Texas. 2 recent CB's there. I would consider it a surprise, but a pleasant one if he commits to LSU.

Also, Im axiously awaiting news on D Smith. I've strongly stated before that he is ALL Bama and has only shown love to LSU for more attention. Let's see how this plays out. Another case where I'd love to be wrong.

Ctiger,
I dont know. I think he would be hard pressed to get carries next season behind Guice, Williams and Bros the Boss.
2018 will be wide open though..

Allen 25/75
No Wilson 55/45
No Ettienne 35/65
No Chaisson 45/65

I'm not really sure what devonta smith's draw to bama is. They struggled throwing the ball all year and are not known for having many receivers in the league (Julio and amari). I'd think the upside for our passing offense is much better than theirs.

Amite has a little bit of a handler situation. That's the draw to Bama.

Allen 0%
Chaisson 0%
McMath 0%
Smith 0%
Harris 0%
Wilson, Etienne, Phillips 50/50
Gay 55%

My opinion only.
