if they do allow players to transfer without sitting out for a year, i doubt SEC schools are eligible.

How could the NCAA control where they go? It's usually a coach who says where they can't go but in the case they will have no say.

I thought it was a rule in the SEC that players couldn't transfer to other SEC schools? I may be wrong on that. I would think this would be a worthy exception.

I'm almost certain they can transfer anywhere. If they are in good standing with the school academically

If the NCAA drops the hammer on ole miss, do these transfer players still have to sit out a year? or do normal transfer rules still apply?

Because it is a two year bowl ban, players can transfer out and play immediately.

That's the major difference between 1 year and 2 year.
