And, after watching him last week against a team with superior speed in BTW and the best safety in the 2019 class possibly in Dax Hill he looked slow and out of shape by the 4th quarter came around. Haven't seen him that flustered and PO'd his entire career. Saw Dax Hill run him down and hit him so hard close to the goal-line I didn't know if he even wanted to get up.
That game was an eye-opener in terms of where he is at. Couldn't believe he was that winded at the end. Thompson ran all over them last year in the dome and didn't look to have lost a breath when he went out at 42-21 late in the game.
We aren't losing much. He needs to lose some weight and get in shape.

Bolden is a less athletic Kirk Merritt. Not quite a RB, not quite a WR. I imagine he has a better head on his shoulders than Merritt though.

Bama's got a corner on the "stick it to LSU" market of Louisiana players. Apparently that recruiting tactic works well with the kids they get.
