Shoutout to Coach Stud for pulling in Clifton Garrett!

Coach Stud gets a lot of flak on tRant and on tLSURB for assorted issues, so I wanted to take a minute and give props where it's due. Coach Stud has been doing work in the Midwest for us the past couple years, pulling in Ethan Pocic in 2013 and now Clifton Garrett in 2014. LSU is a national brand and has been for a while, but pulling top-flight talent from the heart of Big Ten country is never a small feat.

So why does Garrett attribute credit to Chavis? Maybe we should be giving credit to Stud for finding the 5 star LB in the first place but credit to Chavis for bringing him in.

Stud may have placed the first call or mailed the first letter but it was Chavis and Les that really brought CG to LSU.
