The guy the other night had never hit one longer than 46 yards.

And how many did he attempt longer than 46?

Pretty useless stat. He clearly had the distance. Like I said, it may have been only a 20% chance he hits that, but all it takes is to be in that 20% and we're suddenly unlucky. I dont think it's a stretch at all to say that sequence of events (delay of game penalty, missed FG) was lucky in our favor, especially how we finished that game offensively. Every other person in the game thread that night had that sinking feeling when we booted the ball back to MSU with under 2 minutes to go after watching what our offense and defense had been doing in the 4th quarter.

divine magic, it's luck.

Luck means nothing. Might asxwell be magic. There are percentage possibilities all throughout a game. Cherry picking ine moment as a lucky one is retarded. Sorry but if you think there is such a thing, you are a moron

Because all else aside that's what matters in the end whether the game was won or lost.

And it was the sequenceof lucky events, like the other team not realizing the play clock ran out to make a 47 yarder a 52 yarder...

Luck doesnt exist, dude. Preparation and talent meeting opportunity... thats what it is....not fricking luck. LSU did more things right and won, even though they committed 100 yards in penalties. Now stfu bc you're wrong and you look even dumber the more you clarify

Him missing the kick was not luck. It would have been lucky for miss state if he had hit it.

BUT.......... It should have never come down to that!!!!! The point is with the quality of player and coach we have on this team we should have been celebrating the fourth quarter, not nearly having a heart attack. I'm glad we got away with a win, I don't blame the coaches, BUT IF WE WANT TO ACHIEVE OUR GOALS WE HAVE TO DO BETTER THAN THAT!!!!

Yes, in theory it looks like a great way to add college ready players at positions of need. If there were no signing limits, this would happen more. Also as was the case this year, no sure thing the JUCO guy, even after graduating from said junior college can still qualify.

LSU has always been a cherry-picker when it comes to JUCO guys, while some of our other SEC brethren are more active. All based on your recruiting philosophy and the dynamic of your recruiting base.

APR makes it riskier, as well.
