didn't know Patterson was that good with his feet. his is this year's version of trey Quinn. it is still very hard for me to see both Patterson and franks in the same class. i'll take either or both.

Only a matter of time before someone declares that Patterson is the only kid we should be recruiting for that position and the sky is falling if we don't get him and we'll not get any commits for 2016.

Obviously that is ludicrous. But...

Considering his father's praise of CC and his brother's position on the staff, if we don't get Patterson, we royally fricked up something, somewhere.

All reports seem to trend our way on his recruitment...but let's keep the Florida kid in the fold also...let the best man win!

Where do you see this guy moving as far as composite rankings go? Top 10? Top 5?

I'm starting to think y'all enjoy this. That's why y'all always bring it up.

I don't know why that is surprising. In an interview, he said he considers himself to be a dual threat QB.

Was at the game last night to watch. Great playing by Patterson. Pretty smart kid. When rushing, he gets as much as he can then gets down or out of bounds rather than taking a beating. Moved well in the pocket, feeling that back side heat, sliding up and back/ side to side.... Apparently his O line is very young and small.... and you could tell. So, those stats are PHENOM when you see the Oline he's woking with.

Also, expect the west coast to really start putting on the heat. USC, UCLA, and Oregon about to hit him hard.

I think I've just been here too long. I probably should take a break from the board. I guess it gets frustrating this time of year when you get people from the rant pouring over.

This is an ideal college quarterback to me. I know everybody loves the "dual threat" who only passes for 1700 yards and runs for 1000. But give me a guy with a big arm who can make all the passes while still maintaining some mobility so he can tuck it and pick up positive yardage when the play breaks down.
