Say what you want.... but my take is LSU did damn well in recruiting relative to our peers and will be competitive with the best out there next year and for years beyond.

I agree. There are so many recruiting services now, it's really becoming ridiculous. Scout traditionally has some of the best evaluators in the business and were the 1st ever recruiting site still run by originals. I also like how they rank 25 kids, a full class according to the NCAA. This is the 7th straight year in the top 10 on Scout.
I don't like missing out on 4 offered instate like others, but still 15/19 offered instate isn't terrible. Actually, it is fantastic. As long as the Tigers continue to get 80-90% of instate offers and finish top 10, we will "play for victory and compete for championships."

You are doing it all wrong. You have to take the site with the worst evaluation of lsu and then use it to parrot rantard talking points. That is what I have learned on this site.
Some have gone as far as saying that the number 7 ranking isn't valid. Even though the site that has us the worst doesn't even include the whole class in their evaluation.

Scout is very legit despite what some in the SEC has said about them.

Critics are using the site that doesn't list our best player, and that had more than half it's staff bolt for 247 sports.

Great posts in this thread. Finally some fans that know where to look at rankings. Scout and 247 are the 2 legitimate services now. Scout is run by one of the pioneers of recruiting analysts and 247 is run by the people that made Rivals what they were. It's also kind of telling that those 2 have us highest ranked because they do the best job of evaluating LA talent. Amazing how that works.
