Checked with a old teammate of mine in fort worth who is now a mlb scout about Lee, this is what he had to say:

"I was just talking to xxxxx, Parkway Legend, yesterday about Zach. I saw him early in the season, FB-90-92 (sat at 91), SLD: 74-76, CHG: 79-80 with good fade. On Tuesday, I heard he lit up the radar gun with FB: 95. Lee is gifted with an easy arm and fluent delivery. Only time will tell if he loves football more than baseball and immediate money. I know Baseball America has Lee and Lipka teammates in the top 50 in the US. Hopefully, I will get to see him next week. So many scouting directors and crosscheckers will be there. Next time you see Coach xxx tell him I said "hello". Hopefully I will get an opportunity to bring some of the guys I work with home for a clinic."

I know this doesnt give a real feel on his liklihood of enrolling, but does give some true numbers and some opinion.

I have asked three different scouts in tx about lee. All three gave me the same response "he's going to play football at LSU". They all said he is very talented.

Wow. That's great to hear. You would think that the temptation for him to play MLB would be sky high.

“We’ll just wait to see what happens,” Lee said, “and let it all play out.”

As I've said all along...

am I missing something here?

I think the guy over in fort worth hit the nail on the head "only time will tell if he loves football better than baseball and ""immediate money"". I was hoping he could give me an idea or specualtion on where Lee would go in the draft and dollar figures but alas I didnt get that.

Lets hope we get this guy on campus!!
