Man, they are really ridin for Saivion on the 247 board. I kinda feel bad for Barton, they're treating him like he's Hamm's twin brother or something.

I view him as a stud safety. In my mind, he probably is a 4 star CB but a 5 star safety.

I'm so pumped over him. I think he will be a monster safety or nickel playmaker. This dude just makes plays

I have watched a few hilight films of Savion Smith. But they are all of the same hi lights.

Based on what I saw, the opposing team SHOULD NEVER want Savion around the ball. He disrupts plays, intercepts balls, runs them back for TDs, returns punts for TDs...

but he seems to be around the ball ALOT!

"I had a chance to see [Saivion Smith] in 7-on-7 and he made a couple big plays including an interception. He looks like a good athlete with a lot of upside based on his natural gifts and instincts." ---Trieu

"You're seeing him against some unbelievable wide receivers. That was a true test. He's a 6-foot-2 corner. Every team covets those types of guys. He has great length. He made a beautiful play where he got beat, and he showed great makeup speed and that natural knack to knock the ball down late. The kid has it all. He's a natural playmaker. He's always around the ball making plays, just a tremendous athlete and ballhawk." ---Jamie Newberg

Why the f would Fowler decommit from LSU?

We have like no LBs next year. He could possibly start in the SEC as a true freshman. They better not lose him. That's our biggest need on defense.

family is huge UT fans and it's really close to home

but he apparently grew up a big LSU fan if I recall

and I agree, we have a huge need there for him
