What will the effect of satellite camps in Baton Rouge that are not affiliated with LSU have on the Tigers?

For example: Non-LSU BR Camp

yuck. but at least ASU and TTU are not competition for most Tiger prospects, with the exception of a receiver here or there.

You have Southern and Dartmouth. Talk about 2 schools at the opposite ends of the spectrum

I don't think we have to worry about ANY team coming in to Louisiana.

If I'm being honest this whole satellite camp deal is blown way out of proportion. LA kids will still, by far and large want to go to LSU. I dont think these camps anywhere (including us), will make a big recruiting impact, especially since EVERYONE is doing it.

I love LSU but If I'm an athletic kid with the academic potential, I'm looking hard at Dartmouth or any other Ivy. Just saying. That's a life changing opportunity.

Arizona St loves them some Louisiana kids. They have 7 Louisiana kids on their roster

If I'm a Louisiana athlete without an LSU offer, I would consider ASU. They have incredible talent.

That's what he meant...you've never called a gaggle of hot women "talent"?

Todd Graham has always liked Louisiana kids. He always had a handful on his rosters while at Rice and Tulsa. That is why this camp is being held here and with the teams they have. A lot of the coaches at that camp come from the Todd Graham coaching tree and or have close connections with him. Kansas head coach David Beaty is a former Graham assistant, who later coached at A&M with Kingsbury, and all of them come from the Texas high school ranks.

completely agree. There is no reason why a random camp in LA is going to sway a bunch of LA players. The best way to recruit a kid is to get them on campus, not talk to them at a camp. JMO
