This is awesome, even if it doesn't change his mind. LSU is building and reinforcing some serious pipelines to the two biggest talent pools of the South.

Well if he likes depth chart he should see a huge advantage for himself here. FS is loaded with talent on the Dline, LSU needs to start landing these types of guys. I can't imagine how good we could be landing two guys like this at each of the DT and DE position every year.

My question is at 290 lbs. does he stay at DE or does he move to DT after getting Moffitized?

I think the reason why Shavar is up to 290 is because he's coming off an injury where he's been inactive for a while. I bet anything Coach O views him as a Leonard Williams type player.
