Russell Wilson = Lindsey Scott

After watching his film, Scott demonstrates a hint of Russell Wilson. He does not check off receivers nonetheless, however his combination of mobility and touch are similar to Wilson.

He's not similar to Wilson just because he's short, has an ability to run and has some touch on his passes. They're not all that similar. Wilson despite his shortcomings on height had elite athleticism. I don't see that in Scott. Not trying to knock him but it's not a good comparison.

I see plenty of check off (or reads) fast fwd to 3:48 and 4:30 mark. Watch his feet and eyes, goes thru progression, and looks off safety.

I went to the title game to see the Ehret kids on D, Scott stole the show.
In addition to what you mentioned, I saw two sideline routes from the far hash, about ten yards down the field but still a 30-35 yard throw that were money. The corner cheated (in case Scott ran)in both times and the ball was perfectly thrown.
Scott can play.

OK, which team do you Scout for?

A hint....Maybe coaching and inside the program will get him close

With all do respect, Russell is not an "elite" athlete. 4.55 40 yd and 34" vertical is not elite by college nor NFL standards. LINK
Remember, you gotta compare Russell in HS to Scott in HS.
Russell High School Stats Sr. Year : 3900 yards (3300 passing 600 rushing) Total 55 TDs, All State (two star) - 2 power 5 offers, State Championship
LINK
Lindsey Scott High School Stats Sr. Year: 5003 yds (3000 pass, 2000 rush )total 61 TDs, All-Sate, Gatorade POY, All-American, State Championship (3 star recruit, with 18 offers, 4 power 5)

Short QB with mobility.
This is like everyone comparing Trey Quinn to Wes Welker.

are you saying he is an elite athlete
or that he is far from being an elite athlete?
i hope the former

Maybe a hint. I'm still weary about his size. Reminds me of the Aggies trying to justify and compare Kyler Murray. Regardless, the kid is a gamer and deserves a shot here.

This is exactly what Scott has. I mean have you seen the stats this kid posted in LA 5A football?
No doubt comparing an NFL star to a HS kid is not fair.

My bad. Russell is not an "elite" athlete. Most NFL corners (4.3 guys with 40+ verticals, crazy 5-10-5s, are "elite" athletes). My point is, Scott may be ahead of schedule (if we are comparing to Russell). Russell was 5'11 (5'10 5/8) at 180 in HS. Scott's is 25 lbs heavier than that now. His playing weight is Russell's HS weight.
RUSSELL IS A REALLY GOOD PRO BOWL, SUPERBOWL QB. But not an "elite athlete". Neither is Scott. They are both good QBs.

That's right... That's Lindsey Scott's bird.

You guys have compared Scott to Russell Wilson, Drew Brees, and Doug Flutie over the past couple of days.
That is quite a swing from the overwhelming view of Scott before he received an lsu offer.
He reminds me of Devante Kincade.

I just watched some old Wilson high school tape and Scott and they both like to utilize the pump fake

Wilson is an elite athlete for the position. He is one of the top 3 fastest starting QBs in the NFL, if not the fastest. And he has a top 5 arm.
He's 20lb heavier than Antonio Brown, yet he ran a faster 40 and their agility drills were near identical. Think about that.
