Russel Sheppard will start next year?If you go to his film on espn, where hes ranked 1st, he throws the ball once and he misses a man wide open.He can definitely run,we cannot keep him off the field. He said he'd play any pos. so why not WR or CB? He will never be a quarterback at LSU. On most of is passes, he rolls out, waits for the zone to break then lobs it to a guy wide open, then he makes one move and that's it. That will not happen in the SEC. OH, in his espn film, he does not score one touchdown the entire film.

so what you'd like to let Bama get him and have to face him each week. I don't care where he plays but he's a TD machine and threat like Percy Harvin so I'm happy we're at the top of his list.

He will be a superstar right away at LSU, unlike Perrilloux who just said he would be a starter over JR.

This post is overrated. Your a dumbass on espn plus he threw 11/11 against a great team. Go hang out with your buddy jarrett lee and quit watching football

Since you are only 16, I won't hold it against you that you aren't old enough to have ever truly seen a QB develop over time.

So you watched all the film on him? Seen him in camps? Or are you just going off a brief highlight film you saw online?

OK, we play Alabama once, and hes a great athlete, no doubt, that doesn't mean he's a quarterback, I'm just saying he'd have more success at WR-CB,no one can honestly say that he will be a quarterback in the SEC.

Shep, IMO, will be used in special packages like UF uses Harvin. the QB job is JJ's to lose.
