if he were Chris Allen Jr. this wouldn't be a thread and his dad's team in 1962 wouldn't be getting honored Saturday night...

it's also kind of pathetic that we're honoring a 6-3-1 team that didn't win district and didn't make the state playoffs (of course back then there were no wildcards)

He's not good enough to play SEC ball. Likely, not good enough to play high level D1 ball either. Should go the Ivy League route.

I would offer him, if for no other reason than to keep his Dad's $$ from helping our rivals.

Horse Breeding pays very well, fwiw. He's got enough that an SEC West HC is good friends with him, and it directly affects us in a negative way.

I've told this story on the OT before/thought it was quintessential LaMarqueish......

Whilst in Vegas, LaMarque was hitting on this chick at the craps table, as the story goes, and she says "your too short for me though", to which he replies "dawling, I'm 6' 8" when I stand on my wallet).

No clue whether that's true.
