DL and t]op player in the 2013 class, according to 247 sports. Coach is an Alabama grad. The 247 article says he's choosing between Alabama and LSU. And info on him?

Pretty sure he will be picking bama...

His favorite player is Julius peppers and I think there is a coach at Alabama (who coached peppers) that tells EVERY D LINE recruit this story.

Is he going to commit this early? Or is this just his top 2 teams?

Bama would get 247s top two players in 2013. Both rated above 100

I think it is Sunsieri who pulls that one. That shtick was shown in those videos on Rasco and it doesn't make sense at all.

Julius Peppers is a 4-3 DE and would never work in a 3-4. Also, he didn't do anything with Peppers. He was a monster to begin with. He is just trying to live off his coattails.

With Bama, it will be interesting who Ole Miss brings in and I think Kirby Smart could be a candidate. Something these recruits should keep in mind

I was trying to look up that rasco special to see who the coach was but never got around to it.

I think are right about who said that. He seemed like way too big of a salesmen. I wanted to walk away for the rascos

he told Rasco's mom something to the effect of "You ever heard of Julius Peppers? I coached him so he just got 75 million dollars."

Bama's DL is unglamorous. They are space eaters and take up blockers so their LBs can can run around and make plays. Why a DL like that would want to go do that, i dont know. LSU's scheme allows all DL to penetrate and make plays. I am sure he is pretty Bama brainwashed so it doesnt matter anymore. But how a DL can watch the two DLs play and think that bama's is more attractive, not sure. Maybe saban told him he will be a Jack Linebacker.

That's kind of why the article says he was seen as a huge Bama lean, but is now also looking at LSU. We're DLU again! A lot of good recruits on the DL have to be excited.

That being said, his head coach is a Bama grad.

He'd be better fit for LSU, and I think he sees that. Probably go to Bama, but that would be a mistake in their system if he's honest with himself.

He's 270. I'm sure he'd do fine at Bama. Probably just thinks playing for our DLine would be more exciting.

If your a defensive lineman, there isn't a system that will showcase your ability better than chavis'. Especially if you have speed.

Bama owns Georgia and GA happens to have 2 of the top players next year. I don't really like 247 cause they are biased towards bama. A bama grad owns the company. Whether they are truly the top 2 players is yet TBD. Personally I don't think any LB should ever be that high.

Nkemdiche will be jack unless he outgrows the position.

I think we have an outside shot if we really push for him. The staff has to want him and they are going to have to impress him a lot.

yes. They've been recruiting this kid for a while. IMO, a long shot at best.
