If you can't start at Newman until your Senior year because you're playing behind a guy who isn't going to play ball in college you probably aren't going to play in college either.

The problem is most Newman kid's are looking for more then a athletic career .

Maybe Nicholls State and that's being generous. He's a borderline FCS scholarship player if that. Wouldn't surprise me if he ended up on a DIV-II team somewhere because of size alone. After watching that tape the fact is he has almost no athleticism because he cant carry that kind of weight. I bet his conditioning is a major, major concern. He probably needs to drop 30-40 pounds and get quicker.

Well to be fair, every kid should be looking for more than an athletic career even of you are really good. Its the smart thing to do.
