These rating services are virtually meaningless and almost totaly wrong.
The Rivals boys and the 247 boys are almost totally run by Bammers.
LSU get no kudos from them or the SEC media when we win anything including recruiting. Most of these guys are vying for a job in sports media and t get that you have to create controversy.
Why even look at ratings by position when we are so deep at some slots that we did not even sign many players at that position?

So they ranked us as the #2 DE class in the country. That's a good thing! Hard to imagine they're selling us short.

I am not impressed with our receiver recruiting at all this year. I am not however worried in the least about our defensive line recruiting. These guys will be good. Chavis will get them ready.

USC #5 at DT with one 5* guy makes no sense. In no way, shape or form is he better than our group!

we didn't sign any safeties and we didn't sign a lot of lb's. that sent our overall ranking down but why do you give a shite? seriously, exactly what prize does lsu get for being ranked in every little category. should miles have signed more lb's just for ranking sake? we needed dl and i don't give a damn what these ranking bozo's say, we signed seven damn good defensive lineman. i think that should be ranked #1 in the country.

Because I am a fan and this is the recruiting board. I dont see where I said we deserve a cookie. I dont see where I said I wasnt happy with our class.
I do see that some posters were asking what were our defensive rankings in the Offensive Rankings thread.
