Could be fun to throw around some old names on NSD-eve

Derron Parquet-I think he was part of Saban's first class, I was jacked when we got him, I thought he was going to be awesome. I think he ended up getting really sick or something after transferring.

of the 3 OP Walker guys we signed in that 2003 class, I had buster ranked behind these 2

the best that never was, Tim Pope

I believe Parquet has some disorder where he lost control of his muscles and has to be taken care of 24/7. Very sad. He was the biggest get of the first Saban class besides Devery Henderson.

This is going to be fun. This was exactly when I started following recruiting.

Yeah Brandon Williams was his name. I'm not really sure he ever really existed though.. Seemed like Nick made him up. Did he ever do anything?

I got one.. Ryan Gilbert from TX I think. RB #6. Supposed to be really good

Xavier Carter. Obviously he starred in track, but I thought he'd be a great WR for us too.

Amp is a good one. That knee injury makes him the biggest unknown I can remember outside of Antron Seiber going pro in baseball.

John Williams is one of many. Watching his film and the speed/athleticism he had you would've sworn he'd be a star.

Another that all of us missed, though he was solid but never lived up to expectation, Freak. Wasn't a complete bust but Bennie Logan and Ego were clearly better DTs than he was.
