If (Big If) Campbell were to commit to LSU would that put us out of the picture with Johnson? Would be awsome if we got both. Who do you perfer?

They're both elite prospects. Can't go wrong either way.

I think Johnson, but not by much. Both are elite prospects.

I got a better idea just how talented Johnson is by watching the film--he not only made some great catches, but also ran effectively after the catch.

Maybe. Maybe not.

That's my official statement.

I doubt it. They're two different type of receivers. Tyron is a much more polished receiver and Campbell is an athletic freak who needs work.

Johnson is a way more polished receiver. Smooth and dangerous after the catch. He could start year one if we didn't have an amazing group of guys already coming back in 2015. He reminds me of Marqise Lee

Campbell has insane speed for his size, but he needs to work on his concentration and routes. He'll need a redshirt year to work out the kinks. He reminds me of Martavis Bryant.

They would both be welcomed additions.

Haven't watched much film on either, but from what I've read Tyron is more of a technician right? And Campbell is that frrak that will just take the top off. I feel like they would complement each other very well, and they would want to play together.

I'd rather Johnson just so other top LA recruits don't think it's cool to leave, having that home team perception can sway some recruits. We don't need more areas like the northern part of the state.

Any thought on his delay in a decision? I would be surprised with the T T thing but we have greater exposure.

Johnson is the instate guy. Really would like to keep our highly rated prospects. Johnson has the quickness and elusiveness and had good size at 6'1".
Campbell is a little taller at 6'3" and could be a better deep threat and/or jump ball guy. Both are excellent prospects, and I would love to have both, but let's get Johnson and then work hard for Campbell.

I think the biggest thing we need to be selling these guys on other than playing in an NFL style offense under Cameron is playing against the top corners in college football at practice everyday.

You line up across from Rashard Robinson and Kevin Toliver in practice all week and all the sudden you line up across some chump from Texas A&M and life is a lot easier. That has to be a huge sell, and I know Toliver is all over Campbell. Hopefully that's something he is telling him.

George Campbell is the guy I would rather have, don't get me wrong I would love to have Tyron but if he choses Texas Tech or Oklahoma St over LSU than that is his decision but the one that makes the least sense. Campbell would have chosen LSU over FSU, UF or BAMA.

I understand taking Johnson jus on fact of keeping the top guys in LA. But I'd go with Campbell because of his versatility. If doesn't work at receiver he can move to safety or even bulk up and be an OLB and I'd take him cause of that

I think a bigger selling point is the fact that Campbell won't have to go up against Toliver once a year and get worked.
