I had a good conversion with his uncle Oliver last weekend and he is hardly a LSU lock. You can guess the other school involved. He is trying to push Rashard to LSU even though he is 1000 miles away.

Thanks for the info. Would love to see the young man at LSU. DT certainly is an area of need this recruiting cycle. LINK

the other school
this is the only part that bothers me. What is their grip on N La? Is the other school the reason RL has moved up the rankings? Ed has slipped down the rankings since committing. I know the rankings mean diddly squat, but I still despise the manipulation.

They have the same accent in Alabama, makes them feel more at home I guess.

And RL is really good, that's why he moved up in the rankings.

Things have got to eventually swing our way with Oliver out of the picture.

No one said he was a lock, but I like our chances with Coach O at the helm. We are not losing this battle men

I hope not, he just shot way up the board with Oliver to Houston, and might be the biggest name left on the board, unless a big time DE shows up..

This is all making me so much more relieved that we finally locked in Ed Alexander. This slough of DT's that LSU is the favorite for is harder than I thought. I am hoping Glen Logan is not waivering

Yeah and NOLA folks have the same accent as people in New York City, so I would not be talking trash.

Napier is here a ton. Also they're winning. Kids like winners. When I was in school everyone loved Miami and Florida State. Nothing new or crazy.

O is putting in work here though. If LSU loses out, it won't be because he got out worked imo. I like LSU's chances, but it's not a lock.

O needs to sell them on being part of the home team that takes them down

They also lose out on a lot of Nola kids though. And LSU does win. We were just in the national title game a few years ago and we have had the most underclassmen leave for the NFL by far. When we had a great qb our defense was sub par. When we had a great defense our qb was sub par. Whenever all of these pieces fit together they will be in for something special.
