Ed O needs to put that magic in. I'd really like to see LSU in that top 5 when he releases it.

His mother usually travels with him. I haven't heard for sure, but past articles indicate that she goes where he goes. Sounds like Coach O needs to win his mother over.

That would be the single most greatest DL class ever....and would be very very scary for opposing offenses.

I am sure I am in the minority. but I think Oliver is the best D-Tackle prospect in this class. Granted, if his commitment to UH is unshakeable, these other possibilities are complete studs also (and I would be stoked). But Oliver is my #1 choice.

I don't wanna get my hopes up but I'm extremely excited about where LSU defense is headed. I miss the days when LSU had beef in the middle instead of these slim athletic linemen we have had in recent years.

The avatars are great to have at DE and OLB. But we gotta have the monsters at DT eating space up to let the avatars run

Time will tell on your pick of Oliver. Have not watched him in person but the other guys on the board have better film to me.

The fumble recoveries for TD's don't mean that much and his penetrations are more SDE moves and not overpowering like the others. Lawrence and Gary are so powerful and this is what LSU needs, the power inside guys

Hey you may very well be right but his ship sailed and for what it is worth I like Patterson at QB but that ship sailed also

2014 #1 recruit CB Jabrill Peppers went to the same high school as Gary.

I believe he camped at LSU and left without an offer. Rumors were he could not compete with the other talent.

This is not a knock on Gary, but I think NE players tend to be a little over rated.

not from what I remember. Dude was a stud and played like one last year.

He came to LSU, said it was too hot (aka not that interested) and committed to UM.

not related to football skills, he is the moron who claimed he couldn't survive on UM meals

He took a medical redshirt. He is a freak athlete so there is no way he couldn't compete with the rest of the talent at the camp.
