Composite 3*'s= 12

Hopefully this gives everyone a better idea of recruit potential. A lot of these rankings are good for some and bad for others, interesting how it becomes that way.

Good work! One small thing, can you list each player's position as well?

Thanks!

And 14 recruits ranked in the top 300 by at least one service. That's pretty damn good. I don't see why people are bitching so much.

Lsugrad08112 is right if one service ranks them 4* then they are 4*. That is what tv does when a ranking of teams comes out if LSU is ranked #3 in a poll and 8 in another then the tv says 3. Baseball is more dramatic than football though.

thanks Blanky, much appreciated.

While I keep expecting some to show out, or continue to show out, and with enough time/info the rankings will follow.

There are some I wonder if progressing and where they will end up.

Nothing new there, that is recruiting... and kids will be kids.

I agree, but some coaches have the luxury of evaluating all of the top 4 and 5 stars to offer and that would be nice. Auburn's coach doesn't fall under that luxury.

So we trying to find any type of 4 star rankings now. This is just getting to funny I dont think this will be a great class and it wont be a bad class but somewhere in between.i dont think we are used to LSU getting so many under the radar guys , this early, having miles and saban as coaches for the last 16 years.
I do think next years class will be the one that will prove If Coach O is the recruiter we thought he would be though.

I agree with this. With this years class, the only tests is if he could get Surtain, Marshall, and Chase. If he's able to get those 3 guys, this class would be a success in my opinion

Les Miles and LSU evaluated the same type of kids but would offer later, by that time thier ranking caught up. Looks like this staff is just more confident in their evals. This class will be solid. May not be a killer class but LSU is still in it for some really good top talent.

The class will look much different by the end of the season one way or another I can assure you that. Either by thier ranking going up or by us replacing them with someone better. This staff is active and that's what's important. They are offering and taking commits from the best they can see up close at this time.

Once the season kicks off they might get a better look at some others and close out on a high note. I'll take the wait and see approach to see how this thing all turns out. All these people laughing at our class now might be singing praises later, but oh how childish that would be. HTT

How is me posting a simple breakdown of our recruiting rankings "to" funny exactly? Take it however you want, but we have 15 current commits who are ranked a 4 star by some service. Kinda seems like you're trying to find a way to ignore simple facts by writing them off because you want to discredit Orgeron for whatever reason.

Because Miles signed nothing but 5 stars and all he had several recruiting classes that were worse than this class by a wide margin on signing day, after recruits had their final evals and the big fish signed their LOI's, as a lot of them tend to wait until NSD to do. You and anyone else complaining right now are completely clueless about recruiting, please go back to the rant and be a reactionary chicken little moron there
