racking my brain trying to remember, 5* Mich decommit

Searching google and rivals trying to remember.
He was a 5 star that was looking like he was sticking to his Michigan commitment, then switched to LSU at the last moment. Probably 2002-2005 time-frame.
TD is a far superior resource, just didn't want to bother yall.

Yep. Committed to Michigan at the Army All American game I think there was a pretty decent freaking out here. Looking back it wasn't worth flipping out over unless the safety thing really works out.

Funny how we can forget about story-lines once they are Tigers.
I remember it so well because it was right when I started following recruiting. Jia had a 2yr old and decided he wanted to be closer to him. Seeing the rivals headlines from back then brought it all back. We thought he was going to be the next shutdown CB like Corey Webster.

I think that whole decommit drama brings bad karma to the player. You rarely hear about those last min switch guys living up to their billing.

Parrish Cox will be playing on Sunday's. Jai Eugene will be watching him on his TV from his home.

It was Jai, and he said he was coming to LSU to stay closer to his kid or something.

The de-commitment trend continues and is getting worse each year. This year Tennessee signed 10 players who were previously committed to other teams. Arkansas and Florida has 7, Auburn 5, LSU,SC,KY had 4.
