Question for Memphisplaya

Just curious Memphis and I ask you because you have inside access to the team and brought this up in the thread about Micah:
How would it affect Cam Fordham? He practiced with the team this year, dressed for home games and is listed on the roster (#55). Fordham is definitely not a grey shirt as originally planned. Grey shirts can not practice with the team or dress for games, nor would they be listed on the roster by LSU, because they would not be part of the team at that point in time. I saw him on the sidelines several times this year dressed in uniform ready to play and it looks like he has put on a few pounds.
It appears to me that Fordham got the schollie vacated by Z. Lee, that would have gone to Porter if he hadn't of pussed out, and Fordham is part of the 2010 class.
Is Fordham redshirting this year?

BMY - don't know, that's why I'm asking. I just have seen various poster saying he will count against 2011 numbers and I see a kid who con not be a grey shirt on the team. Just looking for clarification, hoping Memphis could answer or clarify.

Fordham is a walkon, but he didn't dress out or travel for several games. Take the Arkansas game for example. He was in Georgia watching the game with Mettenberger.
Now I still think he gets his scholarship , but like I said it's gonna be interesting.
He has to count to LSU's current class because he signed a LOI on NSD 2010...unless he stays a walk on. That is all I meant
