Heard this on 104.9 ESPN radio in Baton Rouge tonight. He's widely regarded as best QB tutor around, Interesting take. He's also JFF QB Coach and talks about his progress. Cool interview

George Whitfield is also Logan Thomas' QB coach (among many others). I am just pointing this out because it's not like Whitfield always turns water into wine.

I will believe it when I see it. Nice compliment though.

Harris isn't that big is he? Winston looks like a DE.

Harris is 6'3, Winston is 6'4 but Winston has nearly 40 pounds on him. Of course that gap will close when Harris hits a college strength program. Winston was 200 pounds coming out of high school compared to Harris' 190.

Winston is now the standard that all talented African American Qb's coming out of hs will be compared to. Not saying BH doesn't have the potential, I'll just have to take the wait and see approach on this one.

George Whitfield trained as an intern under Cam Cameron at San Diego. They are very close and Cam was instrumental in launching Whitfield's career. I knew that already but at the end of this interview he said, "I've learned more football from Cam Cameron than anyone else in my career. He's my mentor."

Wouldn't doubt it at all, I think he will be competitive for the job. I've also seen a couple of (the always) cryptic tweets from Jennings that are a little unsettling - I hope he isn't considering a transfer.

nah i havent heard anything negative about AJ, i have watched AJ since spring tho. he is not accurate (yet) Brandon is Coach Cam's first recruit, i think he has a want to see BH succeed especially if he picks up the system.(damn i almost sound like ole les )

No chance Jennings doesn't start next year.

Agree.

Don't see a true freshman starting over rivers and AJ unless they get hurt or play very poorly

I like the kid, but you have to look out for him. I think Les knew he has thrown guys out there too dang early, and burned them. Some never recover their confidence. I think you get Fournette going, and pass to deceive, and less emphasis on the QB, which will probably have some mobility, if you get my drift..

You guys surely are putting a lot on Fournette's plate...I hope he has a high propensity to retain information. Frank showed us some of LSU's running and pass plays and my god the language is brutal!

While I don't think Harris starts, you can't call him a true freshman. He'll be at LSU in January. I understand he is a true freshman, just saying we need to come up with a new term for EE.

Running back is a spot that is the easiest to get production out of. LF being a product of a private school seems to me he has the brain to pick it up
