Let me guess, he name dropped the whole time using first names of important people and acted like he personally knows every LSU Player.

So, in three games lost, the opposition vs. LSU rushed the ball 126 times for 701 yards. In the other nine games LSU played last year, those nine teams rushed the ball 261 times for 774 yards. That right there is a pretty telling stat.

On defense, stopping the run and building up depth for those late games in which teams will try and run the ball on you is the ultimate key.

In November, you have to stop the run first and force Alabama, Ole Miss and Arkansas to throw the ball to beat you.

Stopped reading right here. Ole Miss is in no way a run first team. I'm not sure they have running backs, just a bunch of slot receivers playing in the backfield.

Nevertheless he is right about LSU's DLine having to stop the run this season against top teams and forcing them to pass. The depth at DLine has to step up this season. It's one thing looking good in practice scrimmages and another in real games. When they do it in the games I'll be a believer.

and on offense DJ Chark needs to start this season. The guy is a playmaker!

Sweet baby Jesus. I could have gone all day without knowing that stat.

We are loaded everywhere. If we don't win the championship we need to clean out the whole staff. No reason to not make it there at least. The only excuse would be 5 very significant injuries.

4, however, would be totally unjustifiable.
What about 3 significant and 2 noteworthy? Deal breaker?

I think we would be just as good as last year if something happens to BH, we could still win 10+ games. He's not an All American or even all SEC.

If we could teach a pitch machine to handle snaps, we'd still win 8+ games this year.

The back ups would be enough to get 9-10 wins, they would just have to play as well as Harris did last year. That's not too much to ask.

I wouldn't completely write off BH not being able to get All-SEC, not saying he will be amazing, but look at the rest of the conference at QB. A lot of pre-season places will have Harris as the #3 QB in the SEC entering the season behind Kelly and Dobbs...and Dobbs actually had a LOWER passer rating than Harris last year slightly, but obviously did a lot more work on the ground than Harris did.
