UCLA DB depth meant he should have played extensively

I agree. It would be stupid if LSU had a dire need at a position and a kid wanted to transfer in and LSU blew him off due to pride. It's just like the NFL. If the need is bad enough and the player is good enough, you'll put up with a lot.

Those stating that rule has absolutely no clue what they are talking about.

Priest missed his window. We just don't have room for more DB's with the success in recruiting right now.

But if a QB or LB wanted in we would consider it.

Let Saban take him and a lot of Les Miles haters will be saying we should have considered him and we are getting out worked.

Everyone wanted Priest. It's funny how things turn out, although I would've loved to seen Corey Raymond coach him up.

Yep....actually LSU could use this to their advantage when recruiting in the AZ/So Cal areas. How many 5* players bust at DBU?

Haha @ all these fools telling Jimmy he is wrong. LSU definitely has that in place and that is why they laughed at Gerald Willis and family begging to come to LSU after he was booted from Floridas team.

If there is one person on this board who would know, I promise its the man who said it.

Yep lol. Same for the linebacker that went to FSU. Begged to come here, but the staff wasn't having that. Spurrier did the same for Golson who left home to go play for ND. Look at what they have for QBs, he should have been a take no matter what, but that's not how Spurrier plays it either.

I doubt that very, very seriously.

I'm sure they evaluate the situation based on whether they think the kid will improve the team.

I don't doubt it one bit..

Miles is all about the chest.

And what I love most about LSU is they will still take care of their own. They are working with Rashard Robinson to get back at LSU. The Mathieu struggle was unfortunate but they were willing to work with him until he had to get serious help. They still are on great terms today which is so wonderful. But these guys that shun LSU or mislead them they tend to show no more interest in. I think it's a tremendous principle that instills an elite prestige over the football program.

There were rumors that he was going to switch his commitment over to LSU on NSD, until the local talking heads started talking about it too much, and word got to Mora so he stuck with his commitment. Not sure if true or not.

I guess we'll have to wait for a potential transfer from a guy who is clearly a benefit to the team and who didn't do anything extraordinary to already burn the LSU bridge (Willis is a bad example) to find out.

You don't think Kain Daub could help LSU? Because they told him to frick off. What about Gerald Willis? Him too... Both of those guys could provide solid depth and competition at relatively thin positions. But they shunned LSU out of high school, so they get no love

I believe that, but everything has a breaking point if the guy is that good. If Cam Robinson suddenly wanted to transfer to LSU for some reason, I doubt they turn him away.

I was more interested in Goodman as a safety prospect. He was a smoother athlete. Interesting nonetheless.

That's too off the wall though. You're talking about a future potential first round draft pick transferring.......for what exactly? If it were a serious crime, he'd be kicked off and not allowed, if it were academic, he'd go JUCO or FCS, then go to the draft. Also, there is no way Saban would allow him to transfer to LSU.

So, you really don't think we'd welcome back Kenny Young?

This is nothing new as a lot of LSU's targets that they just missed on have called seeking a transfer.

Like who? I know Gerald Willis did, but who else recently?

Gerald Willis is a complete and total cancer he's not worth the depth.
