I don't think we land any 5* players this year but I think we get some real good talent that will stick around for 2-4 years.

My prediction:
PG: Skylar Mays, Dejon Jarreau
SG: Eron Gordan
SF: Wayne Sims
PF: Brison Gresham, Orlando Cook(juco)

I personally like our chances with all but 1, that's cooks. I don't know much about cooks which is why, but I feel like we atleast get someone at that spot that is about the same quality in talent.

This class won't get the same hype as the '15 class but can have a huge impact in the future. We have a lot of holes that will need to be filled and I went with 6 players because I'm going to assume we lose Benny, tone, and TQ early to the draft. We will also lose 2 seniors in Josh and Keith. There is always the chance tone and TQ return but as of now I think all 3 have first round talent and will leave after this year.

Edit: I'm changing my prediction and replacing Gordon with Jalen Fisher who is a pg

Look out for De'Aaron Fox. We've got a shot to pull him.

We have a chance but it's gonna take a big season, if he waits it out.

TQ being a 1st rounder after this season is a stretch. He's much less talented than Martin and Mickey, and his game probably won't translate as well to the NBA.

With his length and athleticism he should be drafted near the end of the first round just off potential and what he has done. Now if he can improve his defense slightly he should be a first round lock.

That class looks about right.

That would be a good class right there with a few real program guys. Would be great to get a star plus 4 program guys but we shall see.

Gonna have a ton of talent in the 2017 class so I'm just hoping we can keep the momentum going.

Jarreau and Gresham are the next big pieces to this class I think we get.

After that, it's a crap shoot of who we land. I hope we can get a 5-star into the class, specifically a big.

EDIT - Just saw the Eron Gordon news on 247...all the CB's rolling in for us now including Jerry Meyer and other national guys. Would be a big get considering a lot of people thought he would follow both his brothers to Indiana.

Length
Athletcism

2 primary things NBA teams care about. Quarterman has both of those. I dont think he stays for his senior year and joins Simmons and Blakeney in the draft.

Ban bet that TQ goes in the 1st round this year.

Barring injury of course...

He's a 6'6" PG with great athleticism and length. He rebounds and defends at an elite level for a PG, has good vision, and a decent shot.

Pros will see that all he needs is 20 lbs and to hone his shot and he will be a solid NBA PG.

Can't teach what he has. He'll be a first rounder in most mock drafts by mid-season. Already being talked about after his Adidas camp performance or whatever that was this summer.

+2 to everything you just said caterpillar.
He has that killer instinct to go along with what you said. The second half of the season, he was the one making those, "tyrann mathieu" instinct plays, if you will

Totally agree with this . He's gonna be a 4 yr player for us. Needs much more quickness.

I'd take it. That's a solid foundation. I'm not sure how likely we are to get Cooks or Gordon though. And you still need a big, but maybe get a guy like Daniel Mading in 2017, then shoot for a five star or two in 2018 and that could be special.

I was confident on Gordon after seeing what jerry Meyer wrote but it seems like it's not a garuntee that we are pursuing him. Just have to wait till Saturday.

You both who don't think TQ is a first rounder should watch more basketball. They were talking about him being a first rounder last year in this year's draft in the tourney

He can be Shaun Livingston but better

Last January a scout came on 104.5 at like 5pm and said the only sure fire pro on the team TQ and said even over Mickey and Martin

Shaun Livingston isn't a bad comparison. Still, TQ shouldn't leave unless he becomes more consistant. Last year he would score 25 then less than 5 the next game. That's not what first round picks do.
