(Pitt) James Conner 6'2 235lb Harold Joiner 6'3 218lb

James Conner was a big standout at Pitt under Canada and wrecked havoc on Clemson ending as a 3rd round pick. I think Moffitt could put 10-15lb on Joiner and Canada will play him perfectly

1.) he's way faster than that 40 time 2.) Why say anything negative about a highly rated recruit that may come to LSU 3.) Screw off.

When he was a sophomore he was running 4.5's at just about every camp he went to. Watch him play as well, he's faster than a 4.76

I imagine Canada will be able to utilize him to the best of his abilities.

Check out his video. For a guy his size, runs like a horse. Pity the DB that has to bring him down in open field.
Wildly excited that he loves the good guys!

Is anyone who is 6'3 220 lbs expected to run in the 4.4's in high school? Joiner is a tall guy who relies on his long stride for speed. He won't ever be a 4.4 guy but he doesn't have to be. He's a very smooth runner and plenty talented enough to play RB in this league. Again, our coaches rarely if ever offer poorly at this position.

You're such a pussy. Let's bash college kids. Take your non-athletic arse to the workout board.

Joiner isn't even close to the same type of RB. Just adding lbs doesn't make you more powerful. He was a straight bulldozer who could run over LBs and drag multiple guys several yards.
Geez if this guy is playing LSU again you people are going to look funny as hell with all this "convincing" you're trying to do.

If he can get up to his top speed quickly and watch the blocks, he could get 5-8 yrds. each play with some being longer. Eric Dickerson, never ran a 4.4. He was a tall, big RB that ran smooth around a 4.6. For some running back's, their slower speed allows them to see the blocking form in front of him so he can take advantage of his O-Line and TE/WR blocks down field.

I agree, Joiner is not that impressive to me. I like the other running back we got out of Alabama better.

A. the kid isn't in college and I'm not bashing him but rather your poor analysis of the type of player he is.
C. I played D1 football at the highest level, coach DB's in 6A HS until I got my career going and am only in my late 20's so still very much in shape.
D. My grandfather is a very prominent NFL agent that I actively scout for and I attend the combine in Indianapolis every year since I hold an NFLPA certification. I know Frank Wilson and his daughter very well and wrote a letter of recommendation that just got Will Thomas (Austin's brother) an old LSU grad assistant a gig there not very long ago (probably mostly due to Austin) and I'm good friends with Deron Wilson Franks newphew the defensive grad assistant. I could go on for days here....
In Closing....its easy to watch a highlight tape, drink your coors light and feel like a football big boy. There's a handful of you dummies every season "analyzing" a kid and are nowhere to be found when they transfer. It a recruiting board and discussion is fruitful but try to halfway know your shite. The tallest RB in the history of the NFL was 6'4 brandon jacobs. You've got to have a completely different profile to be that tall and have success. Joiner will play the defensive side of the ball or TE and be an Evan Engram if they explorer that option. LINK
