Derrick Dillion - 262 yards on 9 carries with 222 of those yards coming in the first half. I hope he gets offered.

Edit - Also had 2 rushing TD's and a passing TD in first half

They couldn't have been playing a solid opponent.

Last "great" player I remember from Pine was a gentleman by the name of Will Baker (running back). I watched him play one night (at Pine) and he ran through the opponents defense like a man possessed! Must of ran for over 300 yards that night. He was short and stout and mean as a bull. Early 1970's for anyone with any recollection. I was a youngster and yes he was a relative (cousin). Still lives in N. La.

Hufriggin'larious UT shot. Living in Houston with all these up there butt Teasips, I love it! That's what you get for hiring a Def. Co. from Miss State though.

I've seen him (Derrick Dillon) play on several occasions and he is fun to watch. Very elusive in the open field. Very quick and sharp with his cuts and once he's in tbe clear he usually takes it to the house. Great kid. Don't know where he'd fit in at the next level. He still has 1 more year at the HS kevel so he has time to add some weight to olay RB. Don't know how well he can catch but he has the speed and vertical to play WR. And he'd make a great CB. Barring injury he will be one of the state's best players next year.

Kid is a great athlete but played against terrible competition. Was held to under 100 yards rushing Friday night at St. Thomas Aquinas. Broke on long run of 60+ to account for most of his yards. In his defense his O-Line is pretty bad and the St. Thomas defense is pretty damn good. Watch out for STA nose guard Ed Alexander. 6'2", 300 lb./5.0 40 Sophomore with offers from Florida and Ole Miss already.
