At least we should lead for Rickey Jefferson now

Bright spot is JJ is gone. Appreciate the effort but that was a pathetic performance. Not all his fault but he damn sure didn't help himself. Now I gotta deal with my Bammer boss. F it think I may just put in the two weeks. Geaux Tigers!

What? Why the frick would we lead for him? He's already in love with Bama. Plus, he absolutely loved the way the whole LC thing went down. Add in the fact that LSU fans have never supported JJ, and the fact that LSU fans are on JJ's Facebook calling him a worthless **** who should kill himself and I'd say there is about a 1% chance that we sign Jefferson. Open your eyes dude.

Does he pout if he doesn't get the ball thrown to him perfectly every play? Is 1 catch for 3 yards "playing pretty well" for him?

I don't know, but I just can't see this kid having any legitimate interest in LSU after the way his brother has been treated by this fan base. Hopefully he can look past all that by realizing what a klutz his brother was while he was in BR and that all the hate was warranted.

He knows how passionate the LSU fanbase is and he also knows that his brother screwed that game for his team(along with others in the past). If he is always as confused as his brother during games, or if he points blame at anyone but himself, also like his brother, then why would we want him? One Jefferson is quite enough

From what I've read on the kid, he's supposed to be a good, talented player. Also, from what I've read from him on his twitter, he's a lot more Pro-Bama than people want to admit right now. I know, I know. Its twitter and kids change their mind a lot or could just be playing "the game", but its just hard for me to believe that we have a shot at him.

this....anybody who really watched the SEC championship should have known that our oline could be handled by the 3-4 especially when you have the talent that bama does. when two teams are closely matched the deciding factor is usually emotion (the want) and revenge is the strongest motivator know to man. seaux be it. the deck was stacked against us....and, regretfully, our kids could not pull an ace when they had to.

The bright spot is that this Championship Game was the lowest rated TV audience in 18 years. Unfortunately if you listen to sports talk radio it is all LSU dog meat, all the time... This too shall pass...

Actually, Miles was too generous to JJ in terms of playing time & opportunities throughout his career, given JJ's very mediocre production. I would think this may help Miles with Rickey, but who knows? Also, I thought I read that Rickey may project as a defensive back in college, or is he being considered mainly as a receiver?
