Two comments interest me:
"I didn't think it was a good fit for me at the time."
Does this mean the door isn't shut on his recruitment?
"I'm just ready to start recruiting for them."
Will he pull recruits with him? Who?

He's all Ole Miss. Ole Miss is going to be paying his brother's rent in a couple weeks' time. And I think he's going to try and get Willie Allen and Devin White to come with him, but Ole Miss is a distant third behind Alabama and LSU for each of those guys. Wouldn't put any stock into it.

It means Franks is already committed and his brother will be at Ole Miss. So that's why it's not a good fit for him.

He'll try to. Devin White and Mykel Jones seem to come up a lot. But we'll see. With O and Frank on staff, I really don't see him taking a whole lot of La boys with him.

the most telling quote was he felt he was "their" guy." What he is saying, Franks is good, he's not sure he would be the guy (at lsu). He knows at ole miss, he will be their guy.

I mean when u think about it LSU was in the running for the top dual guy and the top pro style guy in the country. Has two top one guys ever gone to the same school the same year?? Franks will come in and ball. Not worried about him.

He didn't see himself playing at LSU because he knows he cannot beat out Franks for the position ever since the two worked out side by side at a camp at LSU

I don't think he will be pulling anyone with him.
These recruits have a lot less influence over their peers than they think they do.
And like another poster said... commit to Ole Miss, and you'll suddenly become really unpopular in this state.
Speaking for myself, I wouldn't cross the street to watch him play, even if you handed me a free ticket. Zero interest in him now.

Exactly what this looks like. And let's be realistic here, how many Evangel/Calvary qb's have ever really produced in college? They've all just finished "setting a LA record" for yards in a season or career get to college and the truth is exposed. If your offense dictates that 99% of the team's yardage will be in the air then guess what, your qb will have a shitload of yards. I would love to have this guy but not going to lose sleep over not getting him especially since if there is an offense that is unlike Calvary's on the college level, it's thankfully, LSU's

At best he might get Mykel and outside shot of Greedy going with him, but that is it IMO.
I'd rather see Jones go to USC (they really want him), than Ole Miss. IMO, we should only hold out for Drake Davis.
