This point is so tired. How many 5* are there compared to 3's and 4's?

This is the most illogical crap I've ever heard. What kind of conclusion are we supposed to make with that statement?

No 5 star players in Superbowl, therefore, 5 star players aren't good and we shouldn't recruit them.

I have honestly run out of sarcastic and/or snarky ways to respond to these threads.

And only one offensive starter for the Patriots was a first round pick.

Wasn't Marshawn Lynch like the #2 back in the nation? I remember Earl Thomas being highly coveted too.

Lunch was #2 rb yes. The #1 back that year was Adrian Peterson. I'd say they got that right. Aside from being able to forecast he would beat up all of his young kids and get kicked out of the league.

As I've stated before, the ideal player for college is not necessarily the ideal player for the NFL. In the right system, Russell Shepherd's 5* rating would be legit in college, but in no system would he would a fit at qb for the NFL.

Ok...think about it like first round picks. Just cause you're a first round pick doesn't mean you are gonna light it up. Same thing with five stars. You have the tools, but doesn't mean you are gonna make it.
