Not offering Cam Sims

Hind sight is 20-20. But our staff fricked up on this one. Hootie and CRob were our 2 biggest fish outside of LF. Now it looks like were going to lose both out of our backyard and not offering Cam Sims was the domino that set it into motion. I'm just so pumped that instead of offering a top 10 WR in this class we took a kicker.

I completely agree we will be fine without Sims. And losing CRob didnt bother me as much as it bothered a lot of other people on here. But, if we lose Hootie ill be pissed. Bama basically will have locked up the Monroe area for this year.

I'm a Ouachita fan and I'm telling you Cam Sims is not even close to SEC caliber....these recruiting services have lost credibility with me having watched him the last 2 years, plus the kid has an attutude problem! He is NO WAY NO HOW good enough to play for LSU...MOVE ON!!

Not hurt but at the time we had other players (Saeed Blacknall) on our board who we assumed were sure commits. I will say cam sims has a grade risk and an attitude problem

by all reports he was terrible and did not merit an offer at the 2012 camp and didn't come back to LSU to earn an offer after that. And where does it end if you starting offering friends of bigger recruits?

Plus we have Quinn, Noil and Dupre and the 2015 class is loaded with WR. It's not as simple as the op suggests, take another WR over a kicker.
