Do you think it hurts Penn State's chances with him?

I definitely like our chances a lot more with him.

Not to mention, Dante Fowler will be visiting after his season too. Also, a good defensive showing tonight might pique Mario Edwards' interest as well.

However, that was seven years after Penn State officials received an eyewitness report of an alleged sexual assault by Sandusky. According to the release, a graduate assistant allegedly saw Sandusky sexually assaulting a young boy in the showers of Penn State's football building. The release said the assistant reported the incident with Paterno and later met with Curley and Schultz, but the alleged incident was not reported to law enforcement.

Damn. Its the cover-up that just going to kill them. Suits about felonies that could have been prevented. I don't think it would affect football via the NCAA, just sounds criminal.

This is serious serious shite. I have no clue why they didn't indict Joe Pa too. Clearly he could have been included in indictment

I'd heard he reported it immediately, on another blog. The quietus was above him. Don't know if true, just what I heard.

True, but now he is the "State's" witness...he's in the clear.

i'm sorry but if I knew that a 10 year old boy was assaulted by one of MY employees...i wouldn't just shuffle that off into the hands of someone else...I'd handle it myself. Joe Pa is just as guilty in this, IMO.

I follow that logic, but looks like he's clear on the criminal side.. Suits will follow, though.

who did he "report" it to? I read that he instructed the GA to go tell the AD...

The only thing that sticks in my mind, and I could be way off, but it makes me wonder why he's still coaching.. Yeah, yeah, he's JoePa, but I'll alway wonder if he held something back at a certain level, to stay relevant at his school/age. Just my thought when I first heard this, and I have no facts on either side.

Of course, Joe Pa was cleared and the media is in his back pocket a lot of times--some are depicting him as doing the right thing in reporting this, but he almost certainly knew about it & should have reported it much sooner. He did not set a good example for other coaches on his staff, nor for his players & did not show good leadership. This may come back to haunt his legacy--if only he had retired after that player ran into him a few months back--he didn't get the message!

With us beating Bama, this PSU stuff, and the fact he wants to play in a 4-3 which UF doesnt play.... I think if his parents come down to BR with him he could very well end up coming here if Chavis and Brick Haley both keep constant contact
