He would've been a live body, but if he was a stud we wouldn't have offered him 2 weeks ago.

This frees up another scholly.

Not a big loss imho.

I wanted him, thought we needed him, but I agree he wasn't a have to have guy.
We'll be more than fine. #stillgotphillips

I mean he can make one cut and run fast in one direction but not a compete game breaking back.

Imo

I don't feel like LSU will hurt for a RB. I do wish the best of luck to him though.

That one cut and run like hell is why he fits Clemson better. He won't be asked to do anything else there.

Yep. He seems like a serviceable back but this whole notion that he took offense to being LSU's second choice to Cam Akers and getting so butt hurt about it that he ran his mouth about the "real death valley" leads me to believe that he doesn't have thick enough skin to handle the pressures of elite college football.

oh I agree with that. He certainly isn't a class killing type loss by any means.

Where are people getting that he's super fast just out of curiosity? His highlight film on hudl is sped up FYI. It's subtle but it's very, very clearly sped up and it makes him look extremely fast. He's pretty average speed for a college RB if not below average

Brossette will have a better college career than Etienne

I mean we have Guice, a healthy Brossette, Williams and CEH. We won't be down at running back. It's just we'll have raw guys there next year.

How exactly to you speed up a film on Hudl.

Link to him running a 4.38? Watch his senior highlights on hudl, dumbass. They're sped up. It's not even a deniable or "maybe" thing, they're sped up by probably 10-15% and you can see it when the cheerleaders and crowd move around

Good not great. Unfortunately we look like sour grapes for thinking this when they commit somewhere else. For me, if there's a chance they'll be a tiger, I won't talk shite about them.

I have seen guys that were just as fast, look great against Louisiana high school talent, but fail to impress in college. This kid is not one to be disappointed in losing. There was a reason that he was not offered until others fell through.

Let's not be as small as he was about this. He's a very good back. He's not great like Guice or elite like LF, but he his very good. He was a nice to have, but not a must have. Just means we'll have to get a good one or two next year.

And if he was great, I'd imagine LSU would have offered months ago. That they didn't, nor did Clemson, tells us he's not great. He still is very good though.

There are much better RBs in the next two classes with legit interest in LSU available.

This sounds vey sad. He is the best back in the state, we offered him but he is not a great back then why did we offer him. No trolling sounds like it me! If you don't have anything relevant to say then you shouldn't say it. He is from the state we should always wish these kids well and move on.
