the lack of support by LC's family made me feel badly for him. I've been a die hard LSU fan all my life, but if my son or daughter chose a rival school over my alma mater, I'd support them all the way.

That was LC's big moment on national TV and his family couldn't be more supportive? That was kind of disgusting...

It was weird on both sides. Him sticking those Bama gloves in her face afterward was a dick move also. It probably could have been handled better all around. Awkward scene.

Idk, I loved it. It totally distracted from the announcement itself and gave the little Prick in Gumpville something else to lay awake and worry about besides the fact that we are going to wax his team on Monday.

I agree with this. Family should have put their personal feelings aside and supported him.

Family should support no matter what. Simple as that.

Don't do it on national television if everyone isn't supportive. He should have just called both coaching staffs and told them where he was going. Word would get out from there. Recruiting is becoming just a big circus.

What if this was the way they decided to deliver the news to you, after telling you they were picking something else for months?

That seemed to be the type of reaction..

Not really bro. To each his own and that's your opinion, just as his mom had her own. She may a much bigger LSU fan than you are, you don't know. Turn your nose up all you want, but host didn't have to give her the mic to speak, but he did and she discussed her feelings.

So you're the only one capable of knowing right from wrong?

Kinda self-righteous don't you think?

Glad you're the only awesome fan left on the message board.

I am just a little upset right now so that kinda made me feel better (I know thats not good). Towards the end did he say he thought the Louisiana faithful would still support him?

you guys have no idea what dynamics are behind the scenes, maybe momma thinks there are tramps over in bama land, there could be good reasons no to be supportive that go far beyound the football program

did you not see how landon was acting? i'm sure they are disappointed in his behavior. they weren't disrespectful or not supportive. they were there. they just didn't agree with his decision and i'm sure the know more about the basis of that decision that may make them not as happy. he ran to the girlfriend to hug and kiss afterwards.

i felt bad for the mom, he totally blew her off.

I think they'd have been more supportive if they weren't surprised when he made the announcement.

his parents aren't supportive because they know he is going to Bama for all the wrong reasons.

Also some fans are getting bent out of shape and they still live and work in the state. They wanted it to be known they are not in support of this decision.
