A sleeper from Farmerville, La. and Union Parrish High School. His profile shows an offer La La and supposedly some interest by LSU but obviously no offer. Have not heard about him before and curious what is the story with him?

Since it looks like this guy will play WR, LSU probably had their sights set on the bigger fish first. The staff still believes they can sign D. Smith. Numbers game with Netherly and McMath committed as well.

Why wasn't Tech in on this guy?

Tech's really loaded at WR even after losing Trent Taylor & Carlos Henderson

quote:I'd be surprised if they couldn't find a place for him. A solid player is a solid player. It's also pretty ignorant to allow a guy that plays twenty minutes away from campus to leave. Establishing relationships with area coaches is crucial. Tech has never seemed to have done that. It baffles me. If they locked up all of the players in north Louisiana that LSU passed up they'd win 10-12 games a season.

That's of course unless he made it abundantly clear he doesn't want to play for Tech early on. Maybe he wants out of daddy's shadow.

Story on the kid very, very talented kid just has been underutilized in Union parish. Has the height and size and will get even better in college a real sleeper.don't expect to much the first year but that second he will be able to contribute and start to establish himself
