New kids that LSU should be recruiting...

Cody McGuire - Sterlington - LB 6'2 225 from small school in N.LA...I really like this kid!! I think he would be a great player down the line. Maybe a 3star player now but that may change soon. Good speed, good feet and hits hard...I like him! I think he would play his heart out for the Tigers.

Grant Harris 6'5 235 - Clinton, MS - could turn into be another Blockers. Long, rangy kid with upside.
Ethan Frith 6'7 300, MS-OL - Committed to FSU from North Pike HS in Summitt, MS...about 2.5hrs from LSU's campus.
Gerri Green 6'5 210, MS-LB...I like the room to add weight on this player...in two years he could be 6'5 260lb DE or a 6'5 245lb Lber.
There is some other great talent next door...don't need to send funds looking too far outside of the area.
LA, MS, TX and a few FL kids is all we need to dominate the SEC...mostly LA and FL kids followed by TX and add a few MS kids.
What do you think?

Dude, we're not Mississippi State. We have much bigger fish to fry.

He could play in the SEC. Not sure if coaches recruited him

Doubtful on him. He doesn't take on blockers, instead he goes around them. Can't do that in the SEC. Tahj Jones only weighs 205 but takes on blockers like he's Minter.
Green and Harris could be options but we have those slots filled and several others waiting for a spot to open up.
Good finds though.

Exactly, just posting players and limited measureables does nothing. I remember playing a 6'10 OT from Laurel HS in MS, why didnt LSU recruit him?
He woud up signing in with the local JUCO and didnt even make the team this year if I am right.
For all the grief Les is given he does a great job of taking 2-4 projects/potential guys and translating that to SEC contributors, NFL draft picks, and/or solid depth.
There are hundreds, thousands of good athletes with solid builds, but bring stats, film, anything else.

shite, man. I hope the coaches put you on payroll. You're clearly a 5 star talent evaluator.

Got a few more for you. Santos Ramirez. Freddie Booth Lloyd. Russell Gage. If only these guys would attend LSU camp and show what they can do in person, they might get some interest.
Oh, wait. They did. And they did.

Or hey, how about they continue to recruit the blue chip talent they have spent the last 3+ years building relationships with and are still in great shape to land in what could be the greatest recruiting clatt this school has ever had? Nah, your idea is better.

About to blow up. Watch...Just added two members of the 93 WM champs as OC and Strength/ DC. Pretty much about to be WM's program in a split 2A division. Many is a winner and will bring that to Sterlington.

We have a ton of awesome young LBs right now and are about to get Clifton Garret. We don't need project LBs at this point.
And lets face it. This year through 2017 there will probably be a lot of guys that deserve looks that we simply don't have room for.

Hey OP, really solid post, that is what this board is suppose to be about talking about recruiting prospects, once upon a time it was, but now most people just want to Bash and be Smart-Asses instead of true recruiting conversation..My Rant is over---Peace

I'm assuming you mean Brockers and that this kid is a DL.

Yeah he does. That's why Chavis started him in the bowl game even though he missed the whole season.
It's also a big reason why he's starting over Debo
