...Good GAWD! seriously? Florida in the same breath as Vanderbilt? I really think he is selling kids on this crap.

Florida has a pretty good reputation for a state school...

Muschamp doesn't just sell academics. He tried to convince Greg Gilmore that because LSU isn't a nationally accredited university, that it is subpar academically.

reaction to his comments just now on ESPNU re: why a recruit should choose Florida. he went back to his pitch about it being only one of two accredited schools in the SEC along with Vanderbilt or something of that nature, and it's been discussed how meaningless that is.
I can tell you this much, after interviewing and hiring scores of kids from top schools, there is nothing about The University of FLA that will blow up a recruiter's skirt vs, say an LSU, or for that matter...TAMU.

I hope you aren't being serious. LSU is #2 in football player graduation rates. The second highest rated academic institution in the SEC is Florida.
