Only 4 programs on that list have anything to show for them.

Initial thoughts:

-Saban, holy shite dude
-Texas A&M makes LSU blush in the underachieving department
-Dabo is fantastic, and I hope he somehow isn't Saban's successor

Also goes to show LSU is playing the most talented teams every season and it's not so easy winning championships like most think.

Alabama must be poorly coached.

I tried to tell people Clemson and ND were talented teams, yet our fans somehow think they don't belong on the same field as LSU.

Also would be interested in seeing what positions those guys were at. LSU has had some 5* rbs, wrs and dbs. But that's not what has us losing to bama every year. It's on the lines.

I will tell you, ours were not on the line. Maybe 1 or 2, but not as many as you need.

I want to know who gives out the rankings per 247/Scout/Rivals. Where did they go to school? Who all evaluates at camps?

OL in NFL - Ala. 9, LSU 4- This is the biggest difference in the two programs. Competent QB play is also a pretty glaring issue.

proves the point that in the long run stars do matter...

Sure there are some busts along the way but overall it matters. Similar story a couple of yrs ago said when a team has multiple yrs within a 4 yrs recruiting cycle with the #1 team more than once it has lead to multiple NC's every time.

And considering the Les Miles Offensive philosophy -this is huge.
